Student Counselling Placements
We offer student counselling placements in a supportive, professionally supervised environment. Our placements provide opportunities to work with a diverse client base, gain hands-on experience, and develop your therapeutic skills in real-world settings. With regular supervision and access to training and research opportunities, we aim to nurture your growth as a confident, ethical, and reflective practitioner.
Placement opportunities are subscription based including all services and opportunities (Some professional training and accredited courses are payable).
Student Counselling Placement Opportunities
Case load
You will be allocated between 3-6 clients as per agreement with your college or university
Supervision
You will be offered 1 x Free individual supervision exploring the functions of supervision and your client case load. Opportunities for group supervision is also available with links to group theory.
Training
You will have access to a range of training and continuing professional practice
Academic Support
You will have access to regular academic support including critical writing, assignment structure, application of theory to self, reflective writing courses, and research methods - Including my career path as a practitioner.

You must have student membership of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy or equivalent - you can apply here:
Signed off Skills Status
You need to have evidence of 'fit to practice' provided by your Academic tutor - we will require a 3 way contract and an initial conversation with your college / university
